8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Tom Dykas & Tim Daly "Voices in Clay"
As with most people I gravitate to the ideas I find interesting, A form of quiet meditation is an essential part of my life and so I create vignettes to allow the viewer the opportunity to stop and become quiet, if only for a moment. --Tim Daly

I am interested in making things that create experiences for people. This can be through video or installation but my favorite (and most practiced) is through functional pottery. I am not all that interested in being a professional manufacture of wares, however I have found that, for many people, a well crafted cup or bowl can enhance their day, heighten pleasure or even encouraging contemplation within routine. I can paint a picture to hang on someone's wall but I would rather slip it into their hand, wrapped around a vessel and half-hidden by a palm. --Tom Dykas
